Welcome to the new year.
My resolutions this year... well, to be less temperamental, to be more at peace within myself, and to be more optimistic.

Let's see if that will happen. Optimism!

Here's to a peaceful and optimistic year! Hmmm... better get me some of that to rub off on me too!

Have probably butchered it but Wilde said something about 'the basis of optimism is sheer terror.'
